An easy way to convert to Speed Density is almost here! Made with High Quality OEM Connectors, Multicolored Tefzel Military Grade Wire, and High Temperature Wire Sheath. Much time and effort has been expended to accomplish this feat. Because no company makes the proper Male Connector an off the shelf unit had to be modified to fit. This process involves the connector being CNC machined three times among other steps!
A few things will need to be done however:
- For the MAF adapter plug to fit into place, the blue Secondary Retainer must be removed. This is easily accomplished with a normal sized flat head screwdriver as seen in the images below. Removal of this Retainer will have no ill effect on the connector.
- Installation of the GM IAT sensor into the intake manifold.
"SD Option: IAT Input for MAT - Use 0x03, Fuel Temp ADC_0E for MAT - Use 0x0E"
Default setting is 0x0E, you must change this.
- Installation of an aftermarket or JDM MAP Sensor.
- Tephra v7 must be installed and tuned. This is no easy feat!
